Final
The SFA soccer fields are being resurfaced this spring for the next soccer season.

The Grove Apartments had representatives handing out Redbulls and Monsters to students with numbers on the bottom of each drink, and were doing a drawing for free t-shirts, pencils, and scantrons this week.

The commuter parking garage at SFA is usually always filled after 9:30 a.m. until about 3 p.m., causing students who live off campus to park in the commuter lot on University Drive.

Walter Smith was taking old computers from the Rusk Building to get shipped to the prison to help rehabilitate the inmates so they can have computer skills.

Collin Waters, a junior at SFA, was studying for his theater history final exam he take tomorrow at 8 a.m.

The Life of a Musician
Henry Abuto, a 22 year old senior at SFA, from Fort Worth, Tx, is at school on a music scholarship. Abuto plays guitar and sings. "When I'm working on a new song or something, I don't mind a drink. It helps me relax and unwind," Abuto said. Abuto has been playing guitar since he taught himself when he was 10 years old. Abuto said when he hears a song he likes and wants to learn, the first thing he does is look up the chords and learns it. "I'm actually working on something right now, but it's not quite finished," Abuto said. Abuto then began to play the chords of the song he has most recently started on.

Josh Abbott Returns to Nacogdoches
Josh Abbott Band made another return to Nacogdoches on March 22, 2012 at Banita Creek Hall. The band opened around 10:30 that evening and played until 12:30. After the show, they went back to the tour bus and hung out with people they knew from Nacogdoches. Caleb Keeter, the guitarist slept late and missed the tour bus when it left for Nacogdoches that morning and had to drive a white van to Nacogdoches, and ended up staying at the Fredonia that evening. While half of the band left that night around 3:30 am, the other half came to one of my friend's houses and hung out with us until about 7 am, and left the next day for Grapevine, TX where they performed later that evening.

The Life of an Artist: Olivia Hopkins
Olivia Hopkins, a junior from Houston, TX, is an art major at Stephen F. Austin State University. "I don't really have a style yet," Hopkins said, "I just love painting people." Hopkins is half indian, and the photo of the indian woman is one of her latest pieces she has turned in. "I don't know, my professor keeps telling me I should add something in the background," she said. The black and white photo Hopkins has begun is her most recent painting she has started, and it is just the base of it so she can get an idea of where she is going to have everything placed.

The Hidden Corners of the SFA Library
The third floor of the Stephen F. Austin State University is the floor for students to group study because it isn't the "silent floor" which is the fourth floor. Sophomore, Cody Popkes, studied for British literature, which he had a test in that week. Junior, Corine Bays,  was looking over her English notes to get a better understanding of the material. "The library is the best place for me to do any kind of homework," Popkes said. "It's quiet, and I know the other people are here to study and usually don't disturb my quiet." Bays said, "The back corners are usually the most quiet because there aren't so many people, so I find my way back there."
